CORKY GAINSFORD

SINGER / SONGWRITER / DRUMMER / ARTIST / CODE RED RIOT

Corky Gainsford is a drummer, producer, singer, songwriter, and artist from Las Vegas, NV. His drive, dedication, creativity, and tireless work ethic have helped him forge a unique path in the music and entertainment industry.

Corky is most well-known for his drumming abilities in OTHERWISE (Century Media / Sony RED Music) and the internationally-acclaimed Blue Man Group. As a singer/songwriter, however, Corky recently signed a multi-album record deal with Century Media / Sony RED Music for his band Code Red Riot. Following in the footsteps of other drummer-turned-singers, such as Dave Grohl and Sully Erna, Corky is currently recording this band’s debut album, slated for release in early-2018.

OTHERWISE was plucked from obscurity in 2011, after Corky produced, co-wrote, mixed “Soldiers,” acclaimed as “the first song by an unsigned band to reach #1 in the history of satellite radio” on Sirius/XM Octane. That milestone led directly to the band signing a multi-album record contract with Century Media Records. Once released commercially, “Soldiers” became the highest-selling debut rock single in 2012, and it continues to be an anthem for military personnel around the world to this day.
